Two local schools rank among the best in the nation.
According to cinewsnow.com, U.S. News & World Report magazine has released its annual ranking of the best high schools in the Illinois.
Out of the 677 Illinois high schools, Dunlap ranked 62nd and Richwoods came in at 75th.
The magazine reviewed more than 29,000 public high schools to create the rankings. Only 177 Illinois schools made the list.
Nationally, Dunlap ranked 1,520 and Richwoods ranked 1,831, which puts them in the top 13 percent of the rankings.
