Walking away with the most awards this year is Erica Campbell & the “Help” project, followed by Ricky Dillard & New G’s “Amazing” CD. During the pre-show on last Saturday night in Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena, Campbell, who was nominated for 10, won 4 Stellars in the following categories: Contemporary Female of the Year, Contemporary CD of the Year, CD of the Year, Urban/Inspirational single / performance. The eOne/My Block recording artist received the honors for work on her first solo release, “Help,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard Gospel chart. Campbell also won a Grammy earlier this year. Her husband/producer Warryn Campbell also won the Stellar Award for Producer of the Year and Praise, and Worship CD of the Year belonged to William McDowell.
