I'M NOT WHAT I DID is the heartwarming story of Joseph Jackson, a man whose life has been transformed by the power of God and has to come to terms with his past. Circumstances arise and he comes face to face with his three children, whom he left behind, and in his yesterday refused to accept responsibility for, forcing them to survive on their own. Lil' Joe is a 17-year old reflection of who his father used to be, Ebony is a sweet 16-year old that's trying to fill the void in her life that came from growing up without a father, and Derrick, the youngest, has been taken advantage of by a family friend.
After the loss of their mother to cancer, they all have to take responsibility for the past, present, and the future. This hilarious inspirational comedy is full of life reflections and struggles that people face every day. Through his journey, Joseph gets a true test of what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. What Joseph finds is that faith in God produces true victory.
