Peoria's CityLink bus service saw a record number of riders in the third quarter of 2014.
According to cinewsnow.com & ridecitylink.org, the bus service provided 918,929 this quarter, an increase of 43,722 trips over the same quarter in 2013.
Tom Lucek, CityLink general manager said,
"The third quarter of the year is typically higher ridership because that is when school resumes and the weather is still favorable; however, this year we added Sunday service beginning in June and that has contributed significantly to the increase in ridership."
In addition, CityLink ridership in October '14 reached 331,935 the highest ever in a single month.
