Instead of celebrating cherries, the city of Washington, IL will be celebrating "Good Neighbors" come the last Wednesday in May!
The Good Neighbor Days Festival will begin on the Wednesday, May 28th through Sunday, June 1st!
This event will feature musical entertainment, children's activities, carnival, games, crafts, food, and so much more.
The festival kicks off on Wednesday with a Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting, a musical performance by the WCHS Jazz Band, Community Night Dinner, Community Showcase, Meet the Bradley Braves, Carnival, and a Good Neighbor Award. "Teen Night" along with Christian Concerts will be on site at the festival for Thursday. Fireworks, Special Kids Day, Senior Day, and Irish Night will be on Friday. A Rotary Breakfast, Cherry Fest Run/Walk, Family Bike Ride, Good Neighbor Days' Cook Off, Children’s Events, Heratland Cloggers, Fireworks, and Kidz Got Talent will be on hand for Saturday. A White Tiger Discovery, Carnival, and German Day will be on hand for the finale on Sunday.
