Bill Cosby has a new project up his sleeves for all you TV fans that miss your weekly dose of the entire Huxtable gang.
According to blackamericaweb.com, the iconic entertainer plans to make a comeback on NBC, three decades later, with a new multi-generational family sitcom. Cosby will star in the half-hour comedy and reunite with “Cosby Show” producer Tom Werner.
An NBC spokesman said earlier this week that, as yet, there is no series order, nor even a deal to produce a pilot episode.
Cosby's TV triumph began at NBC thrity years ago, when "The Cosby Show" launched in September '84. The Cosby Show ran for eight successful seasons.
He came back for a second sitcom, "Cosby," that aired for four seasons starting in September '96 on CBS.
And to top the cherry on the sundae, the 76-year-old star is also working to reboot his popular 1970’s animated sitcom series “Fat Albert And The Cosby Kids.”
