The 16th annual Chicago Football Classic (CFC) kicks off this year at Soldier Field on Saturday, September 21, 2013;  The kick-off time will be at 4pm.

This year's Classic will hosts HBCU schools Central State (OH) Marauders and Morehouse Maroon Tigers. This year’s festivities feature a celebrity filled weekend beginning Thursday, September 19th leading up to the highly anticipated game on Saturday, September 21st. This is Morehouse's 1st appearance to the Classic, while Central State (OH) makes its 2nd appearance. 

The always anticipated classic is more than just a game; it’s a three-day extravaganza that brings awareness to HBCUs, exposes students to various aspects of the college experience and focuses on the “Back To School” initiative. The Chicago Football Classic supports education to end the violence in the community.
