Former point guard basketball star Frank Williams, will be inducted into the Greater Peoria Sports Hall Of Fame that is going to be on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, IL.

Williams had won four IHSA State Basketball titles ('94-'97), graduated from Peoria Manual in 1998, played for the  Fighting Illini ('99-'02), and played in the NBA for three seasons (New York- '02-'04; Chicago-'04-'05).

He was also recognized as the Male Athlete Of The Year & Illinois Mr. Basketball in 1998, Big Ten Player Of The Year (with the Illini) in 2001, Illinois All-Century Team in 2004, and the 100 Legends Of  The IHSA Basketball Tournament in 2007.

Today, we congratulate and show love to the latest Greater Peoria Sports Hall Of Fame inductee & basketball standout, Frank Williams!
