The nationally-ranked Fighting Illini (ranked number 12; Big Ten Conference) will make their annual appearance  at the United Center to face-off against the Auburn Tigers (Southeastern Conference) on this Saturday, December 29th.

The starting time of this basketball game will be at 1:15pm.

This non-confernce game will be their final test before stepping into Big Ten Conference play. 

Ever since '94, the Fighting Illini are 14-6 at the United Center. They will try to break a 3-game losing streak this weekend; the last win for the Illini came on December 6, 2008 when they won against the University Of Georgia Bulldogs by a score of 76-42.
