The 25th Annual Central Illinois Auto Show is coming to the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, IL on April 4-6, 2014!
This show rivals auto shows in such markets as Kansas City, MO, Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Detroit, MI, and Milwaukee, WI. The Auto Show attendance, as previous years, is expected to reach the 40,000 mark. The Peoria Metro New Car Dealers Association’s 33 dealers will be displaying over 300 vehicles from 29 different Manufacturers. You will be able to see the latest and greatest in cars, trucks & SUV’s, all on one level, under one roof. They’re just waiting for you to check them out!
Attention all NASCAR fans! Come and experience the thrills of being a NASCAR racer. You can feel the ultimate NASCAR interactive experience when you strap your seat belt and sit behind an official #38 M&M’s Ford Fusion racing simulate. For the kids, there’s “Toby” a scaled kid car.
The Central Illinois Auto Show promises to be something for the entire family! Meet your favorite Nickelodeon Character: SpongeBob SquarePants, he will be available for photo opportunities and to entertain the kids. From the popular Marvel Comics and straight from the new movie release, Capt. America, and Spider-Man will be available on Saturday and Sunday for meet & greet sessions. Be sure to bring your camera! Kids, put on your favorite Super Heroes costume, and enter to win a gift basket full of your favorite super hero items. Three lucky winners will be drawn!
Enjoy the daily magic by Rob Thompson Funny Magic Guy. With his laid back and easy-going style, Rob twists awe- inspiring magic and his witty, yet clean, sense of comedy into a show that will delight any audience. For more family entertainment, there will be stilt walkers, face painters, inflatable bouncer fun, and balloon artists. On Friday and Saturday, have some fun with Ronald McDonald. Absolute excitement for the whole family to enjoy! Skip the lines at the DMV! The Secretary of State will be on hand for drivers' licenses and ID card renewals, replacements or corrections and to issue vehicle sticker sales.
On Friday and Saturday, meet King Robota, the world's greatest 8 foot tall robot show. King Robota will entertain audiences with his great wit and dance moves. Come on out & meet the Chicago Honey Bear Dancers on Sunday only. A Kids Dance Workshop will be provided by them as they teach fun dance moves and provide life lessons to the kids. Also on Sunday in the Verizon Café, the Central Illinois Auto Show has partnered again with the American Red Cross to bring back the Auto Show Blood Drive. Give blood, donate. All presenting donors will receive an American Red Cross Lunch Bag.
In celebration of the 25th Anniversary, the first 500 daily attendees will receive a free commemorative tote bag. Daily giveaways also include a coupon for 50% off any car wash to the first 2,000 visitors each day of the show, sponsored by Red Carpet Car Washes. On Friday and Saturday, McDonalds is giving away a free cheeseburger coupon to the first 300 daily attendees. While Supplies Last.
