One of the city’s most popular annual events has a location.
The Taste of Washington (traditionally held in mid-July in the downtown square), has moved Taste to the Valley Forge Plaza Shopping Center.
The event takes place on Tuesday, September 10, 2013; the time will begin at 5pm and end at 8pm.
The change from mid-July to September was made in hopes of better weather. Storms, intense heat, and even funnel clouds affected the Taste in recent years.
Just a quick reminder if you will be traveling to Washington for the Taste, Valley Forge Drive (between Mason Funeral Home & Muller Road), will be closed during the Taste, but there will be access to the funeral home if needed.
The Valley Forge Plaza’s parking lot will be used for parking and perhaps food vendors on the day of the Taste.
