The Friends of the Rock Island Trail will have a luncheon & fundraiser from 11:30am-2:30pm this Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Safety Town. Safety Town is located at 6518 North Sheridan Road in Peoria, IL.
This event will include a silent auction, games for all ages, and a lunch (includes- hot dogs, chips, chips, drinks, and dessert).
This family event aims to raise funds for enhancements such as bike racks, signs, and benches for the Rock Island Trail State Park & Peoria Park District's Rock Island Greenway.
