Get ready as the 32nd Annual Mississippi Valley Blues Festival is going down for the start of the 4th of July holiday weekend in the Quad Cities!

About The Mississippi Valley Blues Festival:

It all started in 1985 with the Blues Festival. Thirty plus years later, the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival had been considered by many festival attendees and major blues magazines to be among the top blues festivals in the country. Held in picturesque LeClaire Park, on the banks of the Mississippi River in Davenport, IA, the Fest had a decidedly down home and non-commercial feel to it that let fest-goers sit back, relax and enjoy an incredible lineup of blues talent. The list of past and present Fest performers reads like a virtual Who’s Who of the Blues. Many featured performers have received Blues Music Awards and nominations; others have received Grammy Awards.

The line-up for this year’s Blues Festival is as follows:

Friday, June 30th:

5pm Zach Harris Band

6:30pm All Sweat Productions Presents:

The 3 Kings (B.B., Albert & Freddie)

8:30pm The Reverend Peyton’s Big Big Band

2:30pm Marquise Knox

4:30pm Corey Dennison Band

10:30pm Dwayne Dopsie & Company

Local Scene Stage:

The Local Scene Stage will feature local and regional musicians beginning at 4pm on Friday, and 12Noon on Saturday. The Local Scene Stage will also feature music between sets on the main Bandshell stage.
