Peoria Humane Society’s Bark in the Park Has Gone Virtual

Bark 2020 will be our 24th annual Bark in the Park fundraiser, and probably our most memorable!  We’ll remember it not only as the year of COVID-19, but also PHS first virtual event!

The Bark has always been about bringing animal lovers together to help raise money to improve the lives of animals in our community.  PHS supports local food pantries with pet food in order to keep pets from going hungry during the current health and financial crisis.  PHS provides assistance for emergency veterinary care when families can’t afford it.  The don’t want families to be unable to feed and care for their pets.  And they want all pets to be able to stay in their homes where they are loved and cared for.  Pets are family members, and people, especially now, need the love and companionship their pets provide.
Please join PHS to help make Virtual Bark in the Park 2020 the most successful Bark ever!  While Bark may look different this year, wherever we are, we’ll be standing together to make a difference for those who don’t have a voice.  On October 4th, you can walk through the park, around the block, to the refrigerator, or just hang out on the sofa with your best fur-friend!  Bark will begin at 1:00 p.m. on October 4th, with a special Facebook Live Kick-Off!  Be sure to join PHS on facebook/Peoria Humane Society live at 1:00 p.m. as they draw and announce the Cash Raffle winners, announce and display the winners of the Mutt Show, recognize our sponsors, Virtual Vendors, & top pledge raisers, and warm up to begin “the walk”!
You can be an extremely important part of the fundraising success of Virtual Bark 2020 by creating a personal fundraising page via the link below. It’s quick and easy and makes a HUGE difference for animals in need. Show your friends, family, and co-workers that you care about animals by raising money for PHS and supporting our goal to end animal suffering and neglect. Plus, collect $50 in donations and receive an exclusive Bark 2020 t-shirt, as pictured above! www.peoriahs.org
