Many restaurants and retailers say “thank you” to veterans by offering them free meals and other deals each year on or around November 11th.
As a veteran or active servicemember, you can enjoy free or discounted drinks and appetizers, meals, special services, national park visits and more. While most of these offers are available only for Veterans Day, some offer MIlitary discounts year round.
Be sure to call ahead to see if your location is participating and ask what proof of service is required.

Tuesday, November 7, 2017-
Chipotle (5pm to close), Buy-one/get-one free burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos. Offer valid for all U.S. military (active-duty, Guard/Reserve, and retired military), military spouses with ID, and veterans. Denny’s Veterans Day Dinner, November 10, 2017. Free Build Your Own Grand Slam® on Nov. 10, from 5 a.m. to noon for all active, inactive, and retired military personnel. Participating locations only. Please call ahead.

Hy-Vee Celebrates Veterans Day with Free Breakfast, Free Breakfast, November 11, 2017. Free Veterans Day breakfast from 7am – 11am at all participating Hy-Vee supermarkets with in-store dining.
Little Caesars® Pizza, November 11, 2017. Free pizza or $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo to all US Armed Forces veterans and active military members between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. With proof of military service, at participating stores nationwide. Call ahead to verify participation.

T.G.I.-Fridays Veterans Day Free Meal, November 11, 2017. Free lunch menu item up to $12 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. local time for all current military members and veterans.
