The 36th Annual Taste of Peoria will be held on this Wednesday at the Peoria Riverfront!
The Taste of Peoria has a block party atmosphere where you can enjoy amazing music for all ages. Admission is $2 per person. Gates open at 4pm.
Over 30 of the Peoria area local restaurants offer a taste of their specialty foods from all nationalities. This year we have food ranging from, Sea Bass Caties, Ceviche, Caprese Panini, Brats, Pork Chops, Pizza, Mac and Cheese, Lemongrass Chicken, and of course the wonderful desserts among many other entries. Over 80 different food items are available. The restaurants are judged by booth design, appetizers, casual entrees, entrees, desserts and beverage.
There is a new layout of the Taste this year. In addition to the Fountain Area and Festival Park restaurants will be on both sides of the soccer field with plenty of seating in the middle. This will relieve congestion of the crowded lines crossing each other. There are 4 booths to purchase tokens.
Here is the list of the live entertainment that will be taking place at The Taste:
The entertainment stage under the bridge features:
4:30pm- Todd Kelly Quintet
6:30pm- Stone Cold Cowboys
