Backpack Peoria is where Dream Center Peoria gives away over 2,500 backpacks loaded with school supplies for children in need.

Mission Peoria participants work throughout the week to help pull off the biggest outreach event in the city.

Backpack Peoria  is an annual event that provides children with backpacks filled with school supplies. Dream Center Peoria will also hold an expo for area agencies and organizations to get involved.

The expo gives families an opportunity to explore resources and services in the community. Peoria Public Schools also has a huge presence at the event. School leaders are at the event to meet incoming students and answer any questions regarding the upcoming school year. Families also have the opportunity to get necessary dental and physical exams.

Just a reminder, child MUST be present & accompanied by an adult. LIMIT ONE backpack per child. Distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Backpack Peoria will be on this Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 9am-2pm at Dream Center Peoria located at 714 Hamilton Boulevard in Peoria, IL.
