With summer arriving and only 35 percent of Americans planning to take a family vacation away from home this year, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2017’s Best & Worst Cities for Staycations.

 

Best vs. Worst Staycations Inside The Numbers:

•New Orleans, LA has the most museums per capita, 92 times more than in Aurora, CO, the city with the fewest.

•New York, NY has the most parks per capita, 13.5 times more than in Hialeah, FL, the city with the fewest.

•Orlando, FL, has the most ice cream and frozen yogurt shops per capita, 28 times more than in Greensboro, NC, the city with the fewest.

•Chicago, IL has the most tennis courts per capita, 26 times more than in Gilbert, AZ, the city with the fewest.

•Chicago, IL has the lowest cost of house-cleaning services, 3.5 times less expensive than in Port St. Lucie, FL, the city with the highest.
