Washington Good Neighbor Days

Instead of celebrating cherries, the city of Washington, IL will be celebrating “Good Neighbors” come the last Wednesday in May!

Washington’s Annual Festival is 5 days of great fun and community.

The Good Neighbor Days Festival will begin on the Wednesday, May 31st through Sunday, June 4th!

This event will feature musical entertainment, children’s activities, carnival, games, crafts, food, and so much more.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday with a Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting, a Carnival, and consessions. “Teen Night” along with Christian Concerts will be on site at the festival for Thursday. Fireworks, Stage Entertainment, and Heartland Bank & Trust Night will be on Friday. A Rotary Breakfast, Cherry Fest Run/Walk, Family Bike Ride, Pie Eating Contest, Children’s Events, Fireworks, and Kidz Got Talent will be on hand for Saturday. a Carnival and Dax Locke Day will be on hand and celebrated for the finale on Sunday.
