The Thanksgiving Holiday is quickly approaching, and if your travel home consists of one of the busiest airports, you may want to consider an alternative.

According to cinewsnow.com, SmarterTravel.com has ranked the five worst airports in the U.S. for Thanksgiving flights and alternatives to use instead.

Topping the list at number one is Chicago O’Hare International, busy pretty much any time of year, and an alternative is using Rockford Airport about 73 miles away.

Hartsfield-Atlanta International is next on the list at number two.

Rounding out the top five are Los Angeles International at number three, Denver International at number four, and Dallas/Fort Worth International at number five.
