A fall family event favorite in Central Illinois (Since 1985), needs your help to kick off this holiday season.
The Festival Of Lights of looking for volunteers to help get floats ready for the Parade of Lights on Saturday, November 19th in Downtown East Peoria, IL.
Several floats are in need of upgrades, including replacement lights.
The work is done at the Festival Building, 2200 E. Washington St. Volunteers can go there from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours are available if multiple people want to help at those times. Volunteers of all ages are welcome as well as students in sixth grade and older. Students must be supervised by an adult.
Weekday volunteers can go to the Festival Building and enter through the side door on the right side of the building.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome, although children need to be supervised by an adult.
