If you are planning on voting for this 2016 Presidential Election, just wanted to remind you that early voting for Illinois residents begins on Thursday.

The time between Thursday, September 29th and Monday, November 7th, is designed for voters who have already made up their mind and don’t want to fight the crowds on Tuesday, November 8th (Election Day).

All you need to know about voting in Peoria:

*Early Voting is Thursday, September 29 – Monday, November 7, 2016 in the Election Commission Office

*Early Voting at Satellite Sites is Monday, October 24 – Sunday, November 6, 2016

*Vote by Mail is Thursday, September 29 – Thursday, November 3, 2016

*The last day to Register to Vote is Tuesday, October 11, 2016

*Grace Period registration is Wednesday, October 12 – Tuesday, November 8, 2016
