WVEL News Scope: CityLink Bus Passes And College Students

Back-To-School time has arrived and Peoria area colleges and universities will begin the fall semester in a matter of days.

This comes just in time for college students and using CityLink is one way students can save a few dollars by taking the bus.

According to cinewsnow & ridecitylink.org, CityLink is offering a local college students discounted rates on bus passes.

Students can pay a cash fare of 50 cents per ride with a school I.D.

They can also buy the new 30-day pass for unlimited rides for $40 which is available to everyone.

CityLink also has a Semester Pass, which offers students unlimited rides for the entire semester for just $102.50. The Semester Pass is currently only available for Illinois Central College students and Methodist College students.
