Get ready as the C-SPAN Cable Network is coming to the Central Illinois Area.

The reason being is, Peoria has been chosen to be part of C-SPAN’s cities tour.

According to cinewsnow.com, camera crews will visit different literary and historical sites while they are in town this week.

They will also interview local historians and non-fiction authors as well.

The segments will appear on BOOK-TV, and American History TV in October; remember to check your local listings to see where you can find these channels in your area.
