According to peoriaciviccenter.com, VENUES TODAY Magazine has released their most recent “TOP STOP” venues worldwide, with the SMG managed Peoria Civic Center Arena landing the 11th spot internationally, and 7th nationally!
The Arena figures for tickets sold worldwide represent shows played between December 16, 2015 and January 15, 2016. The Harlem Globetrotters 90th Anniversary Tour single-handedly landed the Peoria Civic Center Arena on this “TOP ARENA STOPS” list in the 10,001-15,000 capacity categories.
Anne Clayton, General Manager of the Peoria Civic Center said,
“Our continued partnership with the Harlem Globetrotters is such a positive thing for Peoria. Along with being one of our most successful annual shows, they bring so much joy to our arena, and the community.”
The Peoria Civic Center was featured on the list along with one other SMG managed building, the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI.
