According to a new report from GasBuddy.com & cinewsnow.com, Illinois now has the second-cheapest gas in the country!

The nation has recently enjoyed lower gas prices, averaging $1.82 per gallon, but according to experts that may soon change.

Tom Kloza, Oil Price Information Services’ global head of energy analysis, told CNBC,

“We are going to pay more at the pump because refineries are going to be processing less crude, and there’s a glut of crude oil.”

According to the GasBuddy app, Peoria’s average gas price is currently under the state average at $1.58.
