The Thanksgiving holiday is only a few days away; family & friends from near and far will be gathering around the dinner table to “gobble-gobble” up the goodies and give thanks.

While you’re thinking about what you are thankful for this Turkey Day, we wanted to share a few informational statistics on the average Thanksgiving dinner around the United States.

Let’s go inside the numbers for Thanksgiving:

 10, 3, $130, and 9:

10 is the numbered average of people invited, 3 is the averaged number hours that the gathering lasts, $130 is the average cost of the meal, and 9 is the number of days that the host had for planning and prepping.

 1st, 2nd, and 3rd:

These numbers are the top 3 foods that people eat at the the family gathering: 1st- Turkey & Stuffing, 2nd- Mashed Potatoes, and 3rd- Pumpkin Pie.

33%:

This percentage is the number of people who pretend they cooked something that was really store bought if people compliment it.

75%:

This percentage is the number of people who would serve turkey that fell on the floor. (5-second rule)

Have a wonderful, blessed, and safe Thanksgiving holiday!

Bon Apetit & Safety First!
