According to cinewsnow.com, since July, River City residents have had several weeks to learn how to back in when parking on Fulton, Monroe, and Madison streets downtown.
But city staffers say some people have been taking advantage of the trial period, driving in front-end first and even leaving vehicles in a spot for hours.
The meters are back now, and if you park incorrectly or fail to use the meters, you could get a $15 ticket.
The traffic enforcement team is ready to write those tickets. All meters should be in place on the reverse-angle streets by next week.
