Get ready for music, food, and fun at the Morton BBQ Throwdown Festival!

This food event was started in 2011 for two reasons:
1) To bring the thrill of professional KCBS BBQ to Central Illinois; and
2) to raise money for a very worthy local charity, The Illinois CancerCare Foundation.

Since then the event has grown exponentially each year. This growth can be attributed to the hard work of our organizational committee and our volunteers also the support of our great community!

The Morton BBQ Throwdown Festival features the following details:

-A KCBS professional BBQ competition featuring some of the countries best touring teams.

-A backyard competition for local BBQ enthusiasts to show off their skills.

-2 days of amazing local bands on our entertainment stage.

-Several top notch food vendors featuring BBQ, pizza, burgers, kettle corn and much more.

-A large craft/vendor fair with 50+ vendors.

-Several kids activities including; Inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo and much more!

-There is something for everyone in the family.

-All proceeds from this event go to the Illinois CancerCare Foundation. This local charity funds, clinical trials, and research right here in Central Illinois.
