WVEL Money Watch: Gas Prices In Central Illinois

According to GasBuddy.com and cinewsnow.com, gas prices were nice for the 4th of July holiday weekend, but are now on the rise.

The average price of gas in Peoria, has gone up four cents a gallon in the last week to $2.66 a gallon Sunday.

However, the national average actually fell six cents but is still higher than Peoria by eleven cents.

Prices on Sunday were around ninety-six cents cheaper than they were a year ago in the River City.

Gas prices in the Bloomington-Normal area are down ten cents from last week.
