There's a new St. Jude run and it's just for kids.
According to cinewsnow.com, Running Central and St. Jude Runners have teamed up for the first ever Mini-Memphis Run for kids ages 2 -15.
Unlike the real Memphis run, they will run between a 50 yard dash and 2 miles, depending on the age.
Sheriff Mike McCoy, St. Jude Runners' Associate President said that,
"If we can teach these young kids that are interested in running what it means to help St. Jude by their little fundraising then down the road, this is the 34th year at the 64th year we're going to have lots of kids involved and their all going to help participate in raising money for a great cause."
The event will be Sunday, July 19th on the Riverfront trail.
