The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce of Quincy, IL, has released the schedule for the Official 2015 Dogwood Festival.
This year's theme, "#Quincy175" will include block parties, a parade, dance, activities, theater, and concerts with Quincy Notre Dame High School Concert Band.
If you are interested on traveling to the "Gem City" for this festival, here are a few events that will be taking place the rest of this week.
The official schedule for the Dogwood Festival is listed below:
Thursday, April 30th:
–Little King & Queen of Dogwood Pageant, 7pm, Quincy Mall Center Court.
–Mama Won't Fly, production by Quincy Community Theatre, 7:30pm, Oakley-Lindsay Center.
Friday, May 1st:
-Neighborhood block parties, 6pm, various locations.
-Quincy Notre Dame High School Spring Choral Concert, 7pm, QND Gymnasium.
–Mama Won't Fly, production by Quincy Community Theatre, 7:30pm, Oakley-Lindsay Center.
Saturday, May 2nd:
-Breakfast on the Lawn, 8:30am, First Christian Church, 1415 Maine.
-Amusement rides, food, crafts, 9am-6pm, Washington Park.
-Parade, 9:30am, 24th and Maine, proceeds west to Seventh Street.
-Entertainment, 12noon-3pm, Fifth and Hampshire.
-Musical Pictures, 12noon-6pm, Washington Theatre. Live entertainment: Liz Bentley, 12noon; Kayla Obert, 1:30pm; Cheeks McGee, 3pm; Avenue Beat, 4:30pm.
-Dogwood Anniversary Bash, 4pm to 12Midnight, Maine Street between Fifth and Eighth streets. Live entertainment: The Britins, 4pm (main stage), Madd Hoss Jackson, 5pm (stage two); Jared and the Gentlemen, 6:45pm (main stage); Super Majik Robots, 7:45pm (stage two); The Plastics, 9:30pm (main stage).

-Community Faith Celebration, 3pm, Clat Adams Park. Live entertainment at 4pm by Christian recording artists JJ Weeks, Unspoken, and Jonny Diaz.
