According to cinewsnow.com, early voting for Illinois residents began on Monday.
The time between now and Sunday, November 2nd, is designed for voters who have already made up their mind and don't want to fight the crowds on Tuesday, November 4th (Election Day).
Multiple early voting sites will be available within the city of Peoria, including the Peoria City Election Commission, opening at 9am.
Voting is also available at the Peoria County Clerk's Office starting at 8:30am.
The Tazewell County Clerk's Office also opens at 8:30am.
Voters in Woodford County can head to the courthouse starting at 8am.
