About Shaun Livingston:

Shaun Livingston was drafted straight out of Peoria Central High School as a first round pick (4th overall) of the Los Angels Clippers in 2004. He has just recently signed to play point/shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors.

"Basketball is still a game of skill. Strength, quickness, and athleticism are obviously important but skills are what define your success as a basketball player. Footwork, ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defensive positioning, offensive movement, and overallunderstanding of how to play the game are all learnable skills. Ultimately, though, I believe the most important skill is entirely mental: It’s called being '"coachable." The willingness to listen and apply what you learn through hard work and repetition is what will make or break you as a basketball player." — Shaun Livingston

About the Shaun Livingston Foundation:

The Shaun Livingston Foundation was created by Shaun Livingston as a way to give back to his hometown of Peoria, Illinois. Shaun focused on family and youth outreach in the first year of the foundation through a free basketball clinic at Peoria Central High School and tornado relief for Washington, IL after the devastating tornadoes in November of 2013.
