 "A 4-Star Feastival Of Food & Fun" is what you can expect when you attend the "Taste Of Chicago" coming soon in Chicago, IL!

 What is the Windy City's recipe for a fantastic food festival? Top Chefs and Grammy winners, combined with entertainment for all ages and several thousand tasting servings of favorite Chicago bites.

"Taste of Chicago" is Chicago's biggest event. Getting its start as a modest food festival on the 4th of July in 1980, the Taste of Chicago has grown to be the world's largest outdoor food fest extravaganza attracting upwards of 3 million people each year. Taste of Chicago 2014 will mark its 35th Anniversary of the festival.

The quintessential summer event, "The Taste" (as it's known to the locals) appeals to all of your senses: Smell and Taste the best of Chicago's booming restaurant scene; See culinary experts share their secrets at daily cooking demos; and Hear award-winning music artists as they take to the big stage of Petrillo Music Shell. 

As you fill up on all flavors of the Windy City from classic local dishes, to specialty cuisines from ethnic neighborhood restaurants, to inspired chef creations, top it off with musical talents including Aloe Blacc, Jeff Tweedy, Nickel Creek, Janelle Monae, and AWOLNATION.

Grant Park — North/South between Monroe Avenue and Balbo Drive, East/West between Michigan Avenue and Lake Shore Drive.

July 9th-July 11th-11am-9pm; July 12th & July 13th-10am-9pm

Admission:

Admission and events for the Taste Of Chicago are free, but you obviously have to pay for food and drinks. Purchases are made by ticket only. Tickets are sold in strips of 12 for $8.50 (includes $2.50 charge for Taste amenities).   All daily restaurants offer a small "Taste" portion for 1-5 tickets; a great way to sample a large variety of all the food available. Tickets are available for purchase on the day of the event.
