WVEL Sports Scope: 2014 IHSA Class 3A & Class 4A Softball/Baseball State Finals

The 2014 IHSA Boys Baseball & Girls Softball Class 3A & Class 4A State Finals will conclude in East Peoria, IL & Joliet, IL on this weekend. Here is a glimpse of what will be happening on today and Saturday.

The 2014 IHSA Girls Softball Class 3A & Class 4A State Finals:

(All games will be held at EastSide Centre- East Peoria, IL)

Friday (6/13/2014):

Class 3A Semifinals: 10am- (Game 1) Chicago (St. Ignatius College Prep) vs. Chatham (Glenwood);12:30pm- (Game 2)  Sterling (HS) vs.Manteno

Class 4A Semifinals: 3pm- (Game 1) Orland Park (Sandburg) vs. Frankfort (Lincoln-Way East); 5:30pm- (Game 2) Gurnee (Warren) vs.Carol Stream (Glenbard North)

Saturday (6/14/2014):

Class 3A Finals: 10am- 3rd Place Game (Loser of game 1 vs. Loser of game 2); 12:30pm- Championship Game (Winner of game 1 vs. Winner of game 2)

Class 4A Finals: 3pm- 3rd Place Game (Loser of game 1 vs. Loser of game 2); 5:30pm- Championship Game (Winner of game 1 vs. Winner of game 2)

Class 4A Semifinals: 3pm- (Game 1) Crystal Lake (Prairie Ridge) vs. New Lenox (Providence Catholic);  5:30pm- (Game 2) South Elgin vs.Chicago (St. Rita)

Saturday (6/14/2014):

Class 3A Finals: 9am- 3rd Place Game (Loser of game 1 vs. Loser of game 2); 11:30am- Championship Game (Winner of game 1 vs. Winner of game 2)

Class 4A Finals: 3pm- 3rd Place Game (Loser of game 1 vs. Loser of game 2); 5:30pm- Championship Game (Winner of game 1 vs. Winner of game 2)
