The Illinois Department Of Transportation (IDOT) & The Illinois Department of Natural Resources, released figures earlier this week showing a decline in fatal crashes involving deer.

Statewide, four people were killed in deer crashes in '12; down from six deaths in '11.

Deer-vehicle collisions also dropped to 15,489 last year, compared to more than 18,000 in '11.
