The 43rd Annual Peoria Turkey Trot will take place beginning at 1pm on Sunday, November 24th at Detweiller Park (located at 8327 N. Galena Road in Peoria, IL). Rain, shine or snow, Peoria's oldest running race is a 4-mile run through with the top two finishers in each division receiving a trophy and a turkey (compliments of Kroger).

All entrants receive a Turkey Trot t-shirt. A ½ mile youth fun-run will take place immediately before the start of the run. Registration fees are $16 through November 20th, $14 for IVS (Illinois Valley Striders) members, $18 for runners registered after November 20th and $2 Youth Fun Run and may be done at the at the Peoria Park District Recreation Office.
