If you are thinking about hitting the road for this weekend, here are a couple of places that you might want to keep in mind while you are planning your destination.

1) Shreveport, LA- Sherveport Classic:

The Prairie View A&M University Panthers will take on the Jackson State  University Tigers, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA. Kickoff is at 4pm (CDT).The two last played in the Shreveport Classic in October 2011 with Jackson State taking home a 34-13 win. This year Prairie View is out for payback in the 2013 competition. 2) Birmingham, AL- Magic City Classic:

The Alabama A&M University Bulldogs (of Huntsville, AL) and the Alabama State University Hornets (of Montgomery, AL) meet annually at Legion Field for this traditional football rivalry that also draws a crowd for the halftime "Battle Of The Bands" action. This is the largest black college football rivalry in the country. The game will kickoff at 2:30pm (CDT) on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
