When you are eating today, take a second and think about how you would feel if you didn't have that meal. Imagine your children, or even a close friend not being able to eat three meals a day.

It's sad to know that there are people who aren't getting enough to eat. And you might not even know that your neighbor or your child's friend is going each day with out the proper nutrition that many of us are blessed with.

So we here at AM 1140 WVEL, are teaming up with CityLink, the Peoria Friendship House, and Kroger to put an end to hunger in Central Illinois, and we need your help!  Starting October 26th, all the way through November, we are asking you to "Stuff-A-Bus" filled with food that can be given out to people in our community who need food.

The Peoria Friendship House provided 52,000+ meals last year, and is expecting more this year. 

Last year we collected over 9 tons of food, and this year, with your help, we can make it 10 or more!

Give hope to those in need of food. Show them that love exists, and make a donation to this year's "Stuff-A-Bus." Give a hungry child the future it deserves, which starts with proper nutrition.
