Central Illinois' Christian Voice, AM 1140 WVEL is asking for your support for the Tri-County Heart Walk by gathering your family, friends and co-workers to build a team.

Walk teams raise money for the American Heart Association to aid in the fight against America's number one killer, heart disease. Walkers who raise at least $100 are eligible for a t-shirt and other prizes.

Come out to the Heart Walk at Festival Park on Saturday, October 12th and take a walk along Peoria's riverfront; the time of this event will start at 9am.
