The Taste Of Washington: New Date, New Location

One of the city’s most popular annual events has a new date and location.

The Taste of Washington, traditionally held in mid-July in the downtown square, has moved Taste to 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in the Valley Forge Plaza Shopping Center; The Washington Chamber Of Commerce finalized the date earlier this week.

The change from mid-July to September was made in hopes of better weather. Storms, intense heat, and even funnel clouds affected the Taste in recent years.

Just a quick reminder if you will be traveling to Washington for the Taste, Valley Forge Drive (between Mason Funeral Home & Muller Road), will be closed during the Taste, but there will be access to the funeral home if needed.

The Valley Forge Plaza’s parking lot will be used for parking and perhaps food vendors on the day of the Taste.
