The 48th Annual Tremont Turkey Festival will take place starting today through Sunday (June 9th) in downtown Tremont, IL.

The event features the Miss Tremont Pageant and a carnival on tonight. Friday (June 7th) at the festival, The Country Store, pole vault contest, a Craft Show, strawberry shortcakes & smoothies, and entertainment by The Coffee House. Saturday (June 8th), a pancake & sausage breakfast, a 5k race, horseshoe tournament, an antique tractor pull, and lip sync contest will be on the list. Rounding out the Turkey Festival for Sunday (June 9th), a community church service, car show, craft show, entertainment will be provided by Guidance Dance Company and Red Letter Road, and the traditional parade closes out on Sunday.
