A 5k CROP Hunger Walk helping to prevent hunger & poverty in the community, is taking place next Tuesday, May 28, 2013 beginning at 1:45pm.

The CROP (Christian Rural Overseas Program) Hunger Walk is hosted by the Church World Sevice. The fundraiser walk will be taking place at the Hult Health Education Center at Proctor Hospital, 5125 North Knoxvillie Avenue. Registration for this event will begin at 1:15pm.

All proceeds of the funds raised in the Peoria Area will go to the Peoria Area Anti-Hunger Coalition for local food banks.
