According to fightingillini.com, Illinois athletics director Mike Thomas announced that the 2013 Fighting Illini Caravan will make stops in Peoria, Bloomington, and Decatur, IL the last week in May.

Here are the caravan stops & locations that will be taking place during the last week of May:

Tuesday, May 28th- Metamora (Peoria), IL: Metamora Fields, 801 Progress Street, 309-367-4000

Wednesday, May 29th- Mount Zion (Decatur), IL: Mt. Zion Convenion Center, 1410 Mt. Zion Parkway, 217-864-5424

Thursday, May 30th- Bloomington, IL: Bloomington Country Club, 605 Towanda Avenue, 309-827-6151 or 309-825-2625 (Debbie Babcock)

 Football coach Tim Beckham, men’s basketball coach John Groce, women’s basketball coach Matt Bollant along with other Illini coaches and student-athletes will attend a reception, which includes hors d’oeuvres, an autograph session, a chance to meet Illini coaches, raffles, and giveaways.

Time for the cities that will carry the caravan will start at 5:30pm (CDT).
