Running Central in Peoria Heights, IL, will be hosting a “Runners for Boston” fun run Monday to aid victims of the  1-week anniversary (April 15th, 2013) bombing at the Boston Marathon in Boston, MA.

The run will begin at 5:30 pm this afternoon at the store at the corner of Prospect and Marietta in Peoria Heights.

“Runners for Boston” t-shirts will be available for a donation of $20 starting at 5 pm and will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

One hundred percent of the donations for the shirts will be forwarded to One Fund Boston, www.onefundboston.org, the charity endorsed by the Boston Athletic Association to aid bombing victims.
