Robin Roberts Will Receive The Arthur Ashe Courage Award Coming This Summer

Look out for newscaster Robin Roberts to receive the "Arthur Ashe Courage Award" at the 21st Annual ESPY Awards coming this summer.

According to BlackAmericaWeb, the “Good Morning America” anchor is being saluted for how she kept viewers involved in her treatments for two serious illnesses. She had breast cancer in '07 and last year had to undergo a bone marrow transplant to treat a rare blood disorder. Roberts returned to “Good Morning America” last month.

Before Roberts came to sister company ABC, she was a sports anchor for SportsCenter at ESPN. In Roberts' start of SportsCenter in 1990, she was the network’s first black female sportscaster.

Hey family, let's show love to and congratulate news/sportscaster and survivor, Robin Roberts!
