Former US Secretary Of State, Condoleeza Rice is coming to Peoria, IL.

Rice will be this year's featured speaker at the 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Luncheon; this luncheon will be held at the Peoria Civic Center on Monday, January 21, 2013. 

Rice served as President George W. Bush's chief diplomat from 2005-2009 (she was the 2nd woman and 1st African-American woman to hold the post); today, she is now a professor of political science at Stanford University (Stanford, CA). Rice is also a senior public policy fellow at the Hoover Institution. 

The January 21st luncheon at the Peoria Civic Center costs $40 per person and $400 for tables of 10 are available as well.
