The Heartland Apartments along with WVEL-AM 1140 are teaming up to help brighten a Senior’s holiday in the annual “Santa For Seniors!”

While you’re out running holiday errands and getting last minute gifts, pick up a $20 gift card for one of hundreds of seniors in our area and give them a reason to smile this year. Many of the residents spend the holidays alone, so just knowing that someone else is thinking about them on this hoilday season, would mean the world. Most of them don’t want much, just some groceries or toiletries, so please take a moment to lend a helping hand to someone right here in Peoria.

Please purchase gift cards in the amount of $20 from one of the following locations:

Wal-Mart
Northwoods Mall
Hobby Lobby
K-Mart
Walgreens
Berean Bookstore

Gift cards can be dropped off at The Heartland Apartments, 607 North Hightower St. in Peoria, IL Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm through Friday, December 14th.
