Comedian Katt Williams is in a crisis.  He has had one bizarre episode of odd behavior after another.  When reports of such shenanigans began to surface in the last few months, many people probably dismissed it as some sort of prank or comedic stunt.  William's continued down slide has proved otherwise.  This is a man that is crying out for help and one can only hope that he has loved ones and real friends that recognize what is going on.  I am no therapist, but his behavior indicates some sort of mental break down.  If whatever condition he is suffering from continues to go untreated God only knows what will happen to this man.  Too often, especially in the African American community, we look the other way or dismiss such oddities as funny when people are really suffering.  Mental illness can be treated.  We need to have honest discussions about this issue and find ways to be supportive of the individuals we know and love who are displaying symptoms of mental illness.  Katt Williams is a funny man, but this is no laughing matter.
